SEVENTH PAY COMMISSION

SEVENTH PAY COMMISSION Central Government employees are unhappy with the recommendations of the seventh Pay Commission. The Unions point out that the take home pay, after deductions , is less than what they get now. They observed a black day, by wearing dark badges. The picture painted by the media , is illusory, they say. Pension liability is more than the salary bill. Normally pension is half the pay at retirement. This means that there are more than double serving employees. With better health services, longevity has gone up. So far as pensioners are concerned , there are no deductions and so people like me should be happy. To cut the salary expenses , recruitments must be stopped. Employees must work hard and cope up with reduced number of staff.
